Valencia allocates 466,000 euros to support homeless services
The Valencia City Council has approved a 466,000 euro grant to support two programs managed by Casa Caridad aimed at assisting vulnerable individuals and those experiencing homelessness.
The funding will sustain a social dining room and an intervention program designed to meet basic needs, including food and hygiene. Additionally, the grant supports the Sanchis Bergón Social Emergency Care Center (CAES), which provides 12 accommodation places. These resources are intended to offer professional accompaniment and tools to help individuals regain personal autonomy and avoid returning to life on the streets.
In 2025, the delivery service assisted 3,347 people through 33,601 deliveries of essential goods and supermarket vouchers. The social dining room served 381 homeless individuals and provided over 17,200 meals during the year.
