Valencia and Eintracht Frankfurt pursue key football signings

In the final hours of the transfer market, several high-profile football movements are developing. Valencia CF is attempting to secure a loan for Uruguayan central defender José María Giménez from Atlético de Madrid. Valencia is looking to bolster its defense following injuries to David Møller Wolfe de Haas and Copete, as well as physical issues with Mouctar Diakhaby. While Deportivo de La Coruña was previously the frontrunner for Giménez, Valencia has entered negotiations, though the player's salary remains a significant hurdle for the club.

Meanwhile, Spanish striker Joselu Mato is nearing a potential move to Eintracht Frankfurt. The 36-year-old, currently without a club, is being pursued by several teams, including Union Berlin and Lazio. However, Eintracht Frankfurt appears to be leading the race for his signature. This would mark a return to the Bundesliga for Joselu, who previously played for the club during the 2013/14 season.
