Valencia approves major hospital projects in Castellón and Finestrat

The Valencian regional government has approved the contracting of works for the new Hospital General Universitario de Castellón. The project has a base tender budget exceeding 474 million euros and an expected duration of 60 months. The new complex will feature over 140,000 square meters of construction, nearly doubling the current hospital's surface area to improve healthcare quality and patient safety.

While construction is underway, the existing hospital will remain operational. Following the completion of the new building, the current facility and its adjacent infrastructure are planned for remodeling to adapt to new healthcare needs.

Separately, the Conselleria de Sanidad has opened a public consultation period regarding the authorization of the Hospital Costa Blanca Finestrat. This private project, promoted by Beetrust and Beemed Finestrat SL with Russian capital, involves an investment of 66 million euros. The facility is designed to serve international patients in the Marina Baixa region, featuring 112 individual rooms and 16,300 square meters of hospital space.
