Valencia Basket announced that the club and American power forward Braxton Key have mutually ended their partnership after the player declined a contract renewal. Key, who joined the team in the middle of the 2025‑26 season, was instrumental in Valencia's recent success, contributing an average of 6.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in EuroLeague play and helping the club capture the Spanish Liga Endesa title and reach the EuroLeague Final Four for the first time in its history. Over 68 games with Valencia, he posted averages of 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks, and will pursue a new offer elsewhere.

The club thanked Key for his professionalism and hard work and wished him success in his future career.
