Valencia Basket releases six players for FIBA World Cup qualifiers

Six players from the Valencia Basket men's first team have been released to participate in the FIBA international windows for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.

The participating players include Álvaro Cárdenas and Mario Saint-Supery with the Spanish national team, Nate Reuvers with Hungary, Elias Valtonen with Finland, Gonzalo Corbalán with Argentina, and Mo Gueye with Senegal.

In the European qualifiers, Spain enters the second phase as the leader of Group I. The Spanish squad is scheduled to play against Portugal in Zaragoza on August 28, followed by a match against Greece in Athens on August 31. Meanwhile, players from other nations will compete in their respective regional windows to secure qualification for the 2027 tournament.
