Valencia Basket targets NBA players for roster reinforcement

Valencia Basket is monitoring the NBA cut market to strengthen its roster for the upcoming EuroLeague season. The club is specifically looking to reinforce interior positions with players who may not find a place in the North American league following the NBA preseason.

Key names being considered include Yankuba Sima and Mo Gueye, the latter of whom previously played for the Chicago Bulls. The club aims to finalize these decisions once its current roster structure is fully determined, ensuring any new signing addresses a specific vacancy or need rather than being a premature market move.

While exploring international options, Valencia has secured the continuity of power forward Jasiel Rivero. The club's strategy involves balancing the retention of core players with the opportunistic acquisition of talent from the NBA market during the window before the NBA regular season begins on October 20.
