Valencia CF faces relegation threat under Javier Aguirre

Valencia CF is struggling in LaLiga, currently sitting in 19th place with only six points after ten matches. The club's recent 1-2 home defeat against Villarreal highlighted tactical deficiencies, as the team failed to maintain a lead and conceded a decisive goal in stoppage time.

Head coach Javier Aguirre has faced intense scrutiny from the Spanish press following a string of four matches without a victory. While the club's board currently maintains confidence in Aguirre, they are reportedly preparing contingency plans, including monitoring unattached coach José Luis Mendilibar as a potential replacement.

Aguirre has defended his management style and his decision to utilize young players, such as Gilberto Mora, noting his history of debuting talent throughout his career. Despite the pressure, the Mexican manager has taken full responsibility for the team's defensive lapses and recent poor form.
