Valencia CF fans protest after 0-5 loss to Barcelona

Valencia CF suffered a heavy 0-5 defeat against FC Barcelona at the Mestalla Stadium, triggering intense protests from supporters. The loss leaves Valencia winless in their first four matches, placing them at the bottom of the La Liga standings.

During the match, fans expressed their frustration by intentionally leaving sections of the stands empty during the first 19 minutes to honor the club's founding year of 1919. As the defeat progressed, many supporters exited the stadium before the final whistle.

Following the game, approximately 2,000 supporters gathered at the stadium entrances to protest against the club's management, including owner's son Kiat Lim, manager Carlos Corberan, and the players. The situation required heavy police escort for the team bus to avoid confrontations with angry fans shouting insults regarding the players' commitment and leadership.
