Valencia CF braces for exits of André Almeida and Álex Lizancos
Valencia CF is weighing the departure of midfielder André Almeida after Swansea City submitted an official transfer offer. The Portuguese, whose contract was renewed until 2029, has been excluded from manager Carlos Corberán’s plans and the club is prepared to study any proposal, with Almeida having featured in 119 matches, scoring four goals and providing 13 assists.
At the same time, Valencia’s right‑back crisis deepens. With injuries to Thierry, Foulquier and the recent injury to Osasuna’s own right‑back Rosier, Osasuna have moved quickly to secure Álex Lizancos. The 23‑year‑old lateral is set to join the Navarrese side for a fee reported around €2.5‑3 million, after a failed €450 000 move to Valencia earlier this year.
