Valencia de Don Juan begins industrial park improvements

The Valencia de Don Juan City Council has begun improvement works at the El Tesoro industrial park. The project, which started approximately two weeks ago, includes repairing sidewalks and adjusting medians. The council is also preparing to clear vegetation to allow for the replanting of green zones. The local government noted that high-speed connectivity was previously brought to the park to attract companies such as Grupo Virosque.

However, the PSOE political party has criticized the current administration, alleging a lack of maintenance and cleanliness in the area. The socialists reported complaints from local businesses regarding weed accumulation, dirt, and the neglect of roads and green spaces. They have called on the governing coalition of the PP and UPL to implement a continuous maintenance plan for the area, which serves as a vital economic hub and hosts services for the Mancomunidad de Municipios del Sur de León.
