Valencia enters race for Hajduk Split's Niko Sigur
Valencia CF has reportedly entered the race to sign Hajduk Split player Niko Sigur. The Spanish club is interested in the 21-year-old Canadian international due to his versatility, as he can play as a right-back or in various midfield roles.
Other clubs monitoring Sigur include Celtic, Leeds United, and Coventry City. Celtic has reportedly made an offer of approximately €3.5 million, but Hajduk Split has rejected the bid, seeking a fee between €4 million and €5 million. Additionally, Toulouse FC has submitted an offer of around €2 million.
Hajduk Split is under no immediate pressure to sell, as Sigur is under contract until 2028. The club is prioritizing its upcoming Conference League play-off match against Rakow before making decisions regarding player departures.
