Valencia expands dining scene with new restaurant openings

Valencia's gastronomic scene is expanding with two new developments in the city. The restaurant Vermúdez, located in the Ruzafa district on Gran Vía Germanías, has extended its operating hours to include a mid-morning 'almuerzo' service starting at 9:30 AM. The new menu features eight grilled sandwich specialties, including options like 'Clásico' with Spanish sausage and tortilla, and 'Blanc i negre' with sausage, blood sausage, and garlic oil.

Additionally, a new Mediterranean restaurant named MURO is scheduled to open on October 22 at Marina Port Valencia. Occupying the former Panorama location in the Marina Norte pier, the establishment aims to provide year-round activity to the waterfront. Led by chefs David Reartes and Víctor Pérez Torrejón, the menu will focus on seasonal local products and rice dishes, utilizing a design by Lázaro Rosa-Violán that incorporates wood and bronze elements.
