Valencian Community hosts diverse cultural and community initiatives

Various cultural and community initiatives are taking place across the Valencian Community. In Segorbe, the tenth edition of ‘Les Arts Volant’ will present the zarzuela ‘Notes d’este estiu són, sarsueles en el camió’ at the Jardín Botánico Pau. This project, promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, uses a truck-stage to decentralize culture through musical performances.

In the media sector, La Veu del Sud has been launched by Grup La Veu PV. This digital outlet aims to provide increased visibility to the southern regions of Valencia, including Baix Segura and Alacantí, through proximity journalism conducted entirely in Valencian. The project is seeking 200 annual donations to fund specialized journalists.

In Valencia city, the SD Correcaminos was honored at the 2025 FDM Sports Awards for its support of the volunteer movement. Additionally, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is expanding its sports offerings by integrating eSports, such as League of Legends and Rocket League, into its official university sports program to foster digital culture and student engagement.
