Valencia extends summer shopping centre hours and stages children's San Vicente street festival

The Valencian regional government has authorised shopping centres in designated tourist zones to open on Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 to 21:00 between 15 June and 5 January. The new schedule aligns with the summer sales period and is intended to boost local commerce, employment and tourism.

Meanwhile, the city’s historic Children’s Street Festival will take place on 15‑16 June in the San Vicente district. Highlights include a traditional procession featuring the Saint’s image and a child‑saint, a dramatized miracle performance, and a concert by the Unión Musical Santa Cecilia. Both events are part of Valencia’s summer cultural calendar.
