Valencia highlighted as key autumn destination in Spain

Valencia is being highlighted as a key destination for autumn tourism in Spain, catering to both families and the LGTBIQ+ community.

The tourism platform Civitatis has recommended seven family-friendly escapes within Spain for the final months of 2026. Valencia’s Oceanogràfic is featured as a primary site for marine education and discovery. Other recommended locations include Toledo, the Selva de Irati in Navarra, Madrid, the Sierra de Aracena, the Cabárceno Nature Park in Cantabria, and Dinópolis in Teruel.

Additionally, La Ciutat Apartments has launched an inclusive campaign titled ‘Este otoño, vive Valencia sin etiquetas’ (This autumn, live Valencia without labels). The initiative invites LGTBIQ+ travelers to experience the city’s culture, gastronomy, and Mediterranean lifestyle. The campaign emphasizes Valencia’s diversity and its growing entertainment scene, including new venues such as the Roig Arena.
