Valencia hosts 739 foreign-capital companies from 55 countries

Valencia currently hosts 739 foreign-capital companies from 55 different countries, according to data presented by Paula Llobet, the Councilor for Innovation, Tourism, and Investment. These companies employ 29,362 people and generate an aggregate turnover of 6,475 million euros.

These international firms, which are controlled by foreign parent companies or have foreign shareholders with at least a 10% stake, primarily originate from Germany, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, and Switzerland. Many utilize Valencia as an operational platform for the Spanish and Southern European markets.

In addition to established companies, Valencia has attracted 350 greenfield investment projects since 2013 from investors in 47 countries. These projects represent an announced investment of 10,943 million euros and are associated with 32,057 jobs. In 2025 alone, the city captured 35 new international projects, with an expected investment of over 700 million euros and approximately 2,600 jobs.
