Valencia hosts upcoming literary and cultural events

Several cultural and literary events are scheduled to take place in Valencia, Spain. The Associació Cívica Valenciana Tirant lo Blanc will host a guided walk on October 3, 2026, dedicated to the life and work of the prominent 20th-century Valencian poet and writer Maria Beneyto. Led by professor Carme Manuel, the walk will explore various city locations connected to Beneyto’s literary legacy and her contributions to social equality.

Additionally, the University of Valencia’s La Nau Cultural Center will host prominent figures Rosa Montero and Paco Roca. On September 28, novelist Rosa Montero will participate in a literary colloquium regarding her new novel, ‘Un día en la vida de Clarita’. This will be followed on September 29 by a session with illustrator and cartoonist Paco Roca, titled ‘Les separacions de Paco Roca’, which will explore his creative process and his latest personal novel, ‘El viaje’.
