Valencia manager Javier Aguirre praises Ryunosuke Sato
Valencia CF manager Javier Aguirre has praised 19-year-old midfielder Ryunosuke Sato following the player's early departure from the Japan national team to rejoin his club in Spain.
Sato, who recently transferred from FC Tokyo to Valencia, left the national team after appearing in 45 minutes against Venezuela to facilitate his return to the club. Aguirre expressed appreciation for Sato's commitment, noting that the player arrived without showing signs of jet lag. The manager described Sato as an “electric player” and highlighted his technical ability and rapid progress in learning English and Spanish.
Aguirre, who previously coached Takefusa Kubo, indicated that he is working to find the optimal position for Sato on the pitch to maximize his performance. The player's integration into the new managerial era at Valencia is expected to be a point of interest in upcoming La Liga fixtures.
