Valencia municipality launches gender‑equality education programme for children

The Valencia City Council has begun a gender‑equality and violence‑prevention project aimed at families and children aged four and up. The first phase features a puppet‑theatre performance titled "Mili Reportera Superstar and Little Red Riding Hood" and a storytelling session called "I tell, you tell," both designed to foster discussion of gender roles through play and audiovisual resources.

The initiative, funded with €3,210.98 from a grant provided by the Diputación de Valencia for municipalities in the protected‑against‑gender‑violence network, will continue in November with a second phase timed to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
