Valencia Ombudsman demands urgent action to save Alquería de Tallarrós

The Valencian Ombudsman (Síndic de Greuges) has issued an urgent warning to the Valencia City Council regarding the continued deterioration of the Alquería de Tallarrós. The historic agricultural site, classified as a Local Relevance Asset (BRL), is facing progressive ruin due to a lack of effective intervention.

Despite previous resolutions and legal declarations of ruin dating back to 2021, the Ombudsman concluded that the City Council has failed to implement any meaningful measures to preserve the site. While the municipality has engaged in various administrative and urbanistic procedures, the Ombudsman noted that these actions have been merely formal and have lacked real impact on the conservation of the structure, which contains elements dating from the 14th to the 17th centuries.
