Valencia parking prices reach 25,000 euro average
Parking spaces in Spanish cities have become increasingly expensive, with prices in Valencia reaching an average of 25,000 euros. According to data from Fotocasa and Habitale, this represents a 52% increase over the last decade.
In Alicante, the average price for a garage space is even higher at 40,000 euros, with some central locations reaching 60,000 euros. In contrast, Castellon de la Plana remains more affordable, with an average price of 12,000 euros.
Experts attribute the rising costs to several factors, including population growth, the conversion of urban spaces into pedestrian zones, and a limited supply of available parking. The rising demand for vehicle storage is outpacing the availability of spaces, making both purchasing and renting increasingly difficult in saturated urban areas.
