Valencia Provincial Council announces bullfighting affairs head position

The Diputación de Valencia has opened a call to fill a bullfighting affairs section head position, offering an annual salary of 88,000 euros. The role involves directing and coordinating the Bullfighting School and Museum.

This new recruitment process differs from a previous announcement in January. While the earlier attempt sought to fill a level 26 director position through discretionary appointment, the current vacancy is a level 24 section head position to be filled via a merit-based competition. This change follows a reorganization of the department where the previous director position was amortized.

The selection process is reserved for career civil servants in Group A, subgroup A1, from the Diputación de Valencia or other public administrations. Candidates will be evaluated based on a regulated scoring system including seniority, academic qualifications, continuous training, and language proficiency, as well as a professional memory defense during an interview.
