La Rinconada hosts major horse racing classics

The Hipódromo Internacional La Rinconada will host its 37th racing meeting of the year on Sunday, September 20, featuring 14 races. The event includes the Clásico Lanzarina (GII) and the Clásico Victoreado (GIII), both contested by two-year-old national colts and fillies over 1,200 meters.

In the Clásico Lanzarina, the filly Aitana Princess, trained by Ramón García Mosquera and ridden by Jaime “Pocho” Lugo for Stud MSM, is a notable contender. The field includes several debutants, such as Rybakina, Aura Romana, Bella Vida, Moon White, and Forever Queen.

In a separate non-handicap race for horses aged four and up, the horse Look At Daddy, trained by Fernando Parilli Araujo and ridden by Franklin González Jr., returns to the track after a 112-day hiatus. The horse, representing Stud Marco Antonio III, seeks its third career victory in a 1,400-meter contest.
