Valencia restores all regional roads following storm Adam

The Generalitat has reopened the CV-700, the final regional road affected by storm Adam, restoring full traffic flow to all 14 regional roads impacted by the heavy rains between October 18 and 20. Conservation teams worked throughout the week to address flooding, water accumulation, debris, and landslides, particularly in the Safor and Marina Alta regions where over 80 kilometers of the road network were affected.

In response to the environmental impact, the Generalitat has recommended a temporary suspension of hunting activities in the Marjal de Pego-Oliva natural space for the upcoming weekend. This measure aims to facilitate ongoing recovery and repair efforts, ensuring safe access for workers and administrators evaluating damages to infrastructure, agricultural holdings, and natural habitats.
