Valencia region's logistics boom: SEUR center and Sagunt gigafactory drive jobs
SEUR inaugurated a new logistics hub in Alaquàs, Valencia, covering more than 31,800 m² and representing an investment of €28.9 million. The facility employs around 600 people and processes over 70,000 parcels daily, reinforcing the company's operational capacity in the Mediterranean logistics network.
In Sagunt, a Volkswagen‑backed battery gigafactory is under development with an estimated €3 billion investment. The project is projected to create more than 3,000 direct jobs and stimulate demand for housing as workers and families move to the area. Private investors are responding with tokenised real‑estate offers, such as Equalice’s residential development of 11 units, allowing participation from as little as €500 and targeting a 7 % annual return.
