Valencia reopens sale of local commerce vouchers on September 16
The Valencia City Council is launching a second phase for the purchase of 'Bono Comercio VLC 2026' vouchers starting September 16. This initiative aims to redistribute any vouchers that were not purchased during the initial period to stimulate local commerce.
A total of 46,041 vouchers were issued. In the first phase, the number of requests matched the number of available vouchers, meaning no notary lottery was required to assign them. Eligible pre-registered individuals have been notified via email by the Chamber of Commerce to complete their purchases by September 15.
The new phase will allow citizens to purchase remaining vouchers until they are sold out, with a final deadline of November 15, 2026. Notably, individuals who already purchased a voucher during the first phase are now permitted to acquire a second one. Each voucher costs 25 euros and provides 50 euros in purchasing power at participating local establishments.
