Valencia selects candidates for 2027 Fallera Mayor

The selection process for the Fallera Mayor and Fallera Mayor Infantil of Valencia for 2027 has progressed, with 26 candidates chosen to represent their respective commissions. These candidates secure a place in the ‘Hall of Fame’ for their commissions, ensuring they will participate in honor courts and receive preferential seating during official ceremonies.

Among the youth candidates, 13 girls are competing for the title of Fallera Mayor Infantil 2027. These candidates represent diverse neighborhoods and sectors, including Quart de Poblet, Campanar, Pinedo, Nazaret, and El Grau. The selection highlights long-standing traditions, with many candidates having been involved in Fallas festivities since birth.

For the commissions involved, this year marks a significant moment of recognition. While many commissions have hosted court members recently, some, such as Maestro Rodrigo-General Avilés, are celebrating the return of a court member after 38 years.
