Valencia: Three injured as street lamp collapses during Luis de la Fuente tribute

Three people sustained minor injuries on Friday, October 9, in the Montolivet neighborhood of Valencia after a street lamp collapsed during a tribute to Spanish national football coach Luis de la Fuente.

The incident occurred while fans were gathered to welcome the coach, who was visiting a mural dedicated to the national team's achievements. According to reports, several spectators had climbed onto the lamp post, causing it to break.

The injured include a 56-year-old woman who suffered a cervical injury, a 49-year-old man with a head injury, and a 16-year-old girl who also sustained a head injury. Emergency medical services, including SAMU and Basic Life Support units, attended to the victims at the scene, with the man and the teenager being transported for further care.
