Valencia to host X Sports Management Congress at Roig Arena
The X Sports Management Congress, organized by GEPACV, is scheduled to take place on October 1 and 2 at the Roig Arena in Valencia. The event aims to address current challenges in sports management, focusing on themes such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, technology, marketing, governance, and leadership.
Key speakers for the congress include LALIGA president Javier Tebas, Spanish Davis Cup captain David Ferrer, EuroLeague CEO Chus Bueno, and Spanish Olympic Committee president Alejandro Blanco. The congress has reached 90% capacity, with 360 of the 400 available places already filled. Most participants are from the Valencian Community.
Luis Cervera, the General Director of Sport for the Generalitat Valenciana, highlighted the strength of the local sports ecosystem and the importance of professional training to support the growing number of athletes, clubs, and events in the region.
