Valencia unveils slogan for 2027 European Athletics Indoor Championships

Valencia has unveiled the official slogan, ‘Ignite the Track’, for the 2027 European Athletics Indoor Championships. The theme draws inspiration from the city’s traditional Fallas festival, using fire symbolism to connect local culture with the sporting event.

The championships are scheduled to take place from March 4 to March 7, 2027, at the Velòdrom Lluís Puig. To build engagement, the organizers are launching the ‘Ignite the Track School Challenge’ this September, an educational initiative targeting schools in Valencia, Castellón, and Alicante to introduce elite athletics to younger generations.
