Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency dismisses EU-Podem complaint

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency has dismissed a complaint filed by EU-Podem regarding the opening ceremony of the new La Almadraba park in Alicante. The agency concluded that there were insufficient indications to justify an investigation, stating that available elements did not reach the level required to suggest fraud, corruption, or the irregular use of public funds.

Local government officials welcomed the decision, describing it as a validation of the legality of their actions. Government spokesperson Cristina Cutanda criticized the opposition for filing the complaint, characterizing the move as an attempt to overshadow the urban redevelopment project and historical discoveries in the area.
