Valencian Community adds 215 interim officials to municipal job pool

The Generalitat Valenciana has added 215 new interim officials to its job pool intended to cover positions reserved for officials with national authorization in local municipalities and entities across the Valencian Community.

This expansion brings the total number of professionals in the pool to over 700, the highest figure since its inception. The measure is designed to strengthen the capacity of smaller municipalities to fill essential roles, specifically secretary-interventor positions, which are often difficult to staff.

The new members belong to the subscales of Secretariat, Intervention, and Secretariat-Intervention, and were selected through tests conducted by the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP). This initiative follows a policy of administrative simplification promoted by the Consell to provide faster responses to the needs of local governments.
