Valencian Community musical bands to hold synchronized concert

On Sunday, September 27, approximately 1,600 youth musicians will participate in a synchronized concert across four cities in the Valencian Community. Organized by the Generalitat to celebrate the start of the school year, the event features 70 musical bands performing simultaneously in Valencia, Castelló de la Plana, Alicante, and Elche.

Each band consists of 20 to 25 musicians. The groups will perform a shared repertoire of well-known pasodobles, including ‘Amparito Roca’, ‘Xàbia’, and ‘Paquito el Xocolater’. The Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV) is responsible for selecting the participating groups.

In Valencia, 30 bands will perform at Plaça de la Verge. Castelló de la Plana will host 15 bands at Plaça de les Aules, while Alicante will feature 15 groups at the port esplanade. Elche will complete the circuit with 10 bands performing in Plaça del Baix.
