Valencian Community targets Finland and Poland for growth
The Valencian Community is implementing new strategies to expand its international presence in both the tourism and export sectors.
In Helsinki, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, in collaboration with the Spanish Tourism Office and Conhostur, held a promotional event targeting the Finnish market. The initiative aimed to attract Nordic visitors by highlighting the region's cultural heritage, gastronomy, and year-round appeal. Tourism Secretary José Manuel Camarero noted that Finland is a strategic market for diversifying and de-seasonalizing tourism demand, with the region currently ranking as the third most popular Spanish destination for Finnish travelers.
Simultaneously, Valencian businesses are being encouraged to explore the Polish market. Cámara Valencia and IVACE+i Internacional will host a webinar on September 22 to provide companies with practical insights into business opportunities in Poland. This program, supported by FEDER funds, aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) diversify their markets and reduce uncertainty when entering Central Europe.
