Valencian Community to create 1,700 jobs via EMERGE program

The EMERGE program, managed by LABORA, will invest 23.6 million euros to create approximately 1,700 jobs for unemployed individuals in the Valencian Community. This represents a 27.3% increase in funding compared to the 18.5 million euros allocated in 2025.

The initiative focuses on forest fire prevention and the conservation of natural environments. The program has expanded its reach to 328 municipalities, an increase of 62 locations compared to the previous year, specifically targeting interior regions to help combat rural depopulation.

To participate, candidates must be registered and active job seekers with LABORA. The employment service handles the selection process based on updated personal and professional data, subsequently providing the names to the respective municipalities to formalize the contracts.
