Valencian Community traffic controls lead to hundreds of judicial referrals

Traffic enforcement operations in the Valencian Community have resulted in numerous legal proceedings for road safety violations. In the province of Castellón, 37 drivers were referred to the judiciary during July for alleged offenses, including 15 individuals driving without a valid permit or license and 22 drivers found under the influence of alcohol.

Across the wider Valencian Community, the Guardia Civil reported 225 drivers facing judicial action in July. The primary cause was driving under the influence of alcohol, accounting for 116 cases, followed by 98 instances of driving without a license. Of those without licenses, 54 had previously lost their driving privileges due to point depletion, while 33 had never obtained a license.
