Valencian government allocates 800,000 euros for new education inspectors

The Generalitat Valenciana has approved a budget modification of 800,000 euros to fund ten new positions within the educational inspection corps in the Valencian Community.

The decision follows a reported increase in workload due to a growing number of educational centers, students, and teaching staff. According to the official agreement, the current number of inspectors has become insufficient to meet the needs of the regional educational system.

The reinforcement aims to ensure proper supervision, evaluation, advisory, and control functions for publicly funded centers. These new roles are intended to better distribute workloads and improve monitoring capabilities across both compulsory and post-compulsory educational stages.
