Valencian government allocates millions to industrial modernization
The Valencian regional government has allocated significant funding to support industrial modernization and innovation across the Comunitat Valenciana. Through the Inpyme 2026 program, 6.8 million euros have been granted to 108 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Alcoyà region. This initiative aims to upgrade facilities, integrate new technologies, and improve production processes, expected to mobilize 24.8 million euros in private investment and support over 3,000 jobs.
Key sectors benefiting from the Alcoyà grants include plastics, textiles, and metalworking. Additionally, the Ivace+i aid program for medium-sized tractor companies has seen high demand, with applications reaching 90% of the available 1.5 million euro budget. These projects, totaling 4.1 million euros in planned investment, involve strategic sectors such as food, ceramics, and chemicals. The regional government highlighted the importance of companies like Jesús Navarro, a major spice producer in Novelda, as examples of industrial leaders driving regional growth and internationalization.
