Valencian Government earmarks €46.5 million for social programmes and €1 million for Venezuelan quake relief
The Generalitat Valenciana has launched a new 0.7 % IRPF funding call, allocating a record €46.5 million for 2026 social projects. The aid targets non‑profit organisations, NGOs and small social‑sector businesses operating in the Valencian Community, with a special emphasis on rural municipalities and vulnerable groups such as victims of gender‑based violence, the homeless, the elderly and children. Applications must be submitted electronically within 15 working days of the official notice.
At the same time, the regional government is mobilising roughly €1 million through the Permanent Committee of Humanitarian and Emergency Action (CAHE) to support 16 humanitarian projects in Venezuela after the June 24 earthquakes. The assistance, coordinated with local authorities and solidarity funds, aims to reach more than 38 000 people in Caracas, La Guaira and other affected states, providing food, water, sanitation, health care, psychosocial support and temporary shelter reconstruction.
