Iberdrola announces scheduled power outages in Alicante

The electricity distributor i-DE, part of the Iberdrola group, has announced scheduled power outages in various municipalities within the province of Alicante between October 31 and November 6, 2026. These interruptions are intended for maintenance and improvement of electrical installations to ensure infrastructure safety.

In Elx, outages are planned for several rural areas, including Daimes, el Derramador, Maitino, Perleta, Torrellano, Vallverda, and el Pla de Sant Josep. Specific time slots have been designated for early November, with some interventions occurring in the morning hours.

Other municipalities included in the maintenance schedule are Villena, Castalla, Onil, Altea, Callosa d'en Sarrià, La Nucia, Catral, and Xixona. The distributor noted that the outages may not affect entire municipalities but are instead limited to specific streets, industrial parks, or rural sectors.
