Valencian Government launches new inclusion income program

The Generalitat Valenciana has launched the new Renda Valenciana d'Inclusió, a benefit expected to reach more than 56,000 people. Monthly payments will range from 793.80 euros for a single person to 1,247.40 euros for households with six or more members.

A key feature of the new program is that beneficiaries can hold employment without necessarily losing the benefit, provided they commit to actively seeking work. The amount is calculated based on the cost of living and the number of people in the household, and includes specific supplements such as housing assistance.

The administration of the benefit has also changed; the competent Conselleria will now handle the processing, verification, and resolution of applications, a task previously managed by local city councils. The government will use its corporate networks to automatically verify requirements, reducing the need for applicants to provide documentation already held by the administration.
