Spain hosts various regional culinary and cultural festivals
Various regional culinary and cultural events are scheduled across Spain. In Corteconcepción, the 13th National Ham Slicing Contest will take place on October 4, serving as a qualifier for the 2027 Spanish Championship.
In Extremadura, the III Espiga Agro-food Fair in Badajoz has reached full capacity, featuring over 126 companies and professional cooking demonstrations by chefs such as Toño Pérez and Dani García. Meanwhile, the Montes de Soria Mycotour begins in early October with mushroom exhibitions and workshops in Rollamienta and Espejón.
In the Valencian Community, the Alicante Gastronómica fair will host over 130 small producers through the Saborigen initiative, highlighting artisanal products like oils, wines, and honey. Additionally, the municipality of Almoradí will showcase its local artichokes and Mediterranean cuisine at the same event.
In Plasencia, the San Miguel neighborhood is celebrating its local festivities with a community-focused program including a solidarity market and various neighborhood activities.
