Valentin Debise secured his first career WorldSSP Superpole at the French round held at the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit. Despite crashing at Turn 15 during the 40-minute session, Debise returned to the track with a new tire to set a final lap time of 1:39.585.
His performance marked a historic milestone for the Chinese manufacturer ZXMOTO, providing the brand with its first-ever WorldSSP pole position. Debise’s teammate, Federico Caricasulo, secured second place with a time of 1:39.644, ensuring a front-row lockout for the team.
Other notable qualifying results include Lucas Mahias in third and championship leader Albert Arenas in tenth. The ZXMOTO riders are set to compete in the two main races scheduled for September 5 and 6.
