Model Valentina Ferrer and Colombian singer J Balvin have confirmed the end of their nearly decade-long relationship. In a statement released on September 16, Ferrer explained that the decision to part ways was made with “love, respect, and the desire to do what is best for our family.”

The couple emphasized that their priority remains co-parenting their son, Río. While public speculation has circulated regarding the specific reasons for the split, including rumors of infidelity, neither party has officially confirmed a specific cause.

Additionally, Ferrer addressed social media rumors regarding an engagement ring she has been seen wearing. Responding to inquiries on TikTok, she clarified that the jewelry was not a gift from J Balvin or an engagement ring, but rather a piece she purchased for herself.
