Valentina Manso appointed director of Organizational Research and Development

Valentina Manso has been appointed acting director of the inter-agency ‘Organizational Research and Development’ structure. In this role, she will manage funded research programs, with a specific focus on those linked to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The position involves balancing scientific-health expertise with administrative-management skills to govern the corporate research ecosystem. Manso will support both the University Hospital and the Ausl, fostering closer collaboration between the two entities to promote clinical and organizational innovations.

The structure’s activities include supporting researchers in establishing Phase 1 clinical centers and experimental laboratories, managing the legal and administrative aspects of clinical trials, and overseeing the accounting for projects funded by European and national grants. Additionally, the role involves providing statistical and methodological support for study design and data analysis.
