Valentina Pergolini withdraws from Popstars reality show

Valentina Pergolini, the 20-year-old daughter of Argentine media figure Mario Pergolini, has withdrawn from the musical reality show ‘Popstars’ on Telefe shortly after advancing through the initial casting stages.

Reports indicate that her departure was driven by a desire to prioritize her acting career, specifically her involvement in the third season of the production ‘En el Barro’ with Sebastián Ortega. There were also suggestions of internal disagreements regarding her participation.

Mario Pergolini addressed the situation on his program ‘Otro día perdido’, expressing surprise that he had not been informed of his daughter's decision to audition. He noted that while he typically maintains a private profile for his family, the sudden exposure caused unexpected friction within the household.
