Valentino reimagines Rockstud Spike Bag for Fall/Winter 2027

Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele has reimagined the house’s iconic Rockstud Spike Bag for the Interferenze Fall/Winter 2027 collection. Originally introduced in 2010 and later evolving into the signature Rockstud Spike bag, the accessory is receiving a modern update ten years after its initial debut.

The updated design features an elongated horizontal silhouette and is available in goatskin leather or suede in various colors, including black, warm grey, orange, and ochre. While retaining classic elements like the turn-lock closure and hand-applied platinum-finish studs, Michele has introduced more decorative interpretations.

One new version is crafted from black nappa leather with floral and butterfly embroidery, symbolizing transformation and expressive freedom. A second version utilizes a harlequin-inspired motif through intricate patchwork construction with contrasting colors and zig-zag stitching.
