Paris Fashion Week SS27 features Valentino and Victoria Beckham
Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 showcased diverse collections, headlined by Valentino’s “Antibiblioteca” show. Creative director Alessandro Michele staged the event at the historic Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, a setting inspired by the concept of the unread book. The collection featured maximalist elements, including vibrant silk corset tops in cobalt, fuchsia, and yellow, paired with lace skirts, ostrich feather trims, and chunky gold jewelry.
Other notable highlights included Victoria Beckham’s collection, which emphasized a radiant, dewy aesthetic through a collaboration with Augustinus Bader, and the launch of her Rouge Victoria lipstick line. The Row also presented a collection that moved beyond minimalism toward more textured and colorful designs featuring crochet and lace.
Beauty trends observed across the runways included a focus on bold red lips and floral-inspired accessories, such as the large flowered earrings seen at Dior. The season reflected a tension between inventive, maximalist creations and a return to refined, classic silhouettes.
