Valentín Yankelevich wins first TC2000 race

Driver Valentín Yankelevich, 23, secured his first TC2000 victory at the Parque Ciudad de General Roca racetrack. Driving a Toyota Corolla Cross GRS, Yankelevich started from third position and overtook the leaders during the first lap to maintain control until the finish.

Yankelevich dedicated the win to his late mother, actress Romina Yan, who passed away in 2010. This victory follows a period of personal difficulty for the driver, who recently made public allegations against his father, Darío Giordano, regarding physical and psychological violence during his childhood.

The win marks a significant milestone in Yankelevich's career with Toyota Gazoo Racing, following his debut in the category in April 2025 and a subsequent podium finish in Buenos Aires.
