Valentýna Kočířová wins double gold at Junior European Championships

Valentýna Kočířová achieved a double gold victory at the Junior European Canoe Slalom Championships in Épinal, France. Following her kayak title, the 17-year-old secured the canoe gold with a flawless run, avoiding any gate touches and finishing 6.70 seconds ahead of Germany's Nova Müller.

The Czech delegation also secured bronze medals in the C1 category through junior Tomáš Indruch and Adam Král in the men's under-23 category. Other Czech finalists included Barbora Ondráčková, who narrowly missed a medal, and Dominik Řežábek, who finished ninth.

The championship is scheduled to conclude on Sunday with kayak cross events.
